Some hard-working and extremely talented pupils have been lucky enough to enter vocational dance schools full-time. We have ex-pupils at both Royal Ballet School White Lodge and Upper School as well as Young Dancers Academy, Alvin Ailey and Joffrey Ballet School in New York.
Over the years, our students have also gone on to train at Central School of Ballet, Northern Ballet School, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and Kate Simmonds Dance.
Our most recent success story is a talented young dancer who has just been accepted into Central School of Ballet. She started her ballet training late, after training in gymnastics. However, with her strong determination and conscientious focus on her ballet studies she has proved that anything is possible and is now looking forward to her 3 years full-time dance training.
Pictured below, with world famous principal dancer Sarah Lamb, is one of our students who entered the Royal Ballet School White Lodge at 11 years old. He has continued through the school and is now beginning his last year at White Lodge. He will then have to make his decision to audition for the upper school or other prominent professional dance schools.
We are also very proud of one of our ex-pupils who started ballet with us when just four years old. He left the Southborough School of Dance to train with the Royal Ballet School White Lodge when he was aged 11. He continued his training at the Upper School when he was 16. He has now been offered a contract with the Royal Ballet Company. His dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer is now a reality.
Our talented and caring team of professional teachers support and nurture the talent, passion and dreams of our pupils wherever they take them. Find out more about individual dance opportunities.
